Who we are

This policy explains how Xavis Cleaning ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores and protects personal information through this website and when you book or enquire about our cleaning services. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: your name, phone number and email address
• Details about the cleaning you need: the service, property or premises details, preferred times and any notes you add
• Feedback you send through our private feedback form, including your rating. We only show feedback on the website if you tick the box giving permission, and then only with your first name and the initial of your surname
• Basic technical information about your visit to the website (see "Analytics and cookies" below)

How we use it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

• To respond to your enquiry or booking request and prepare a quote
• To arrange, carry out and follow up the cleaning you book
• To keep records of our work and meet our legal obligations
• To understand how the website is used so we can improve it

How we store and protect it

Enquiries and booking requests sent through this website are stored in a secured database on our web server, which only authorised staff can access with a password. We may also receive a copy by email. We keep enquiry records only for as long as we need them for the purposes above, and then delete them.

Who we share it with

We share your details only with the people who need them to provide your service, such as the cleaners assigned to your job, and with service providers that host our website and email. We do not disclose your information to anyone else unless the law requires it.

Analytics and cookies

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser, but not your name or contact details. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@xaviscleaning.com.au or calling 0481 868 444. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will respond. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
